Glad to have been of service! :) (not sure why I didn't get the notification for your reply)

Yup, Alpha 9 is done so I'm kinda relaxing today :)

I'd be happy to try out a test link for you.

Awesome to see it getting some useful feedback there. I've been super busy lately with my own release prep, so haven't had a chance to check out Alpha 1 before today.

Unfortunately, it's become even less playable than before for me :/ (latest FF, Win7). Earlier it was just rare hiccups presumably due to the GC, but now it's too jittery to even survive much of the first map. I tried it in my backup browser, Opera, and it doesn't work at all there (just shows a black screen). I can't even install Chrome on my machine, so I couldn't try that...

The downloadable version works great, but I wanted to try and get on the online high scores :P

The badge colors look good!

Yeah, I got to the RNG splitting way too late, so it's in there, but only good for level seeds, not all the logic (too much of it now! plus the animations and whatnot still use the same RNG). There's way too much going on in the world to quickly simulate an entire run anyway :/

Very nice UI work!

That's awesome, a method I really wish I could use myself, but there are some unresolvable technical roadblocks in my own engine :(

PS, I made also a small fix for @Kyzrati suffering from GC lags in his browser :)
Yay :D. So it was the GC, after all?

That looks great, a good idea. And as you have it now it certainly wouldn't be taken as a bug. This is something you'd encounter in a certain area?

Haha, that's cheating.

I like it! (Although with anything so central and public like that you should proofread it :P)

Btw, you ruined chronology of my monologue  :'(, -- just kidding  :P
Haha, the only way to avoid that is to have a dedicated announcements board where only you can post. Regular boards aren't that great for chronological news records :)

Switching to event driven model didn't hurt so much as I was suspecting previously.
Yeah, after your previous post about "massive refactoring" I was thinking okay, see you back in a month :P

Surprised that you were already back to adding new stuff!

Ha, I apparently answered the same as yourself. About 4-5 years back I would've gone with 50/50, but it's really a question of available time. I just don't have the time to play very many games anymore, that and honestly once you've spend decades playing them, much of what's out there starts to seem samey, so may as well put the effort into creating something instead :)
